Visit Visa

A visit visa type B211A is currently issued for the following activities:

  1. Tourism;
  2. Social;
  3. Business;
  4. Transit;
  5. Sports activities.

A visit visa type B211C is currently issued for the following activities:

  1. Journalistic activities;
  2. Film making.

The visit visa type B211A / B211C is a single-entry visa that is valid for a stay of up to 60 or 180 days max. The 60-day visa can also be extended 2 x 60 days at the nearest immigration office. Please note: A multiple-entry visa requires special approval by the Directorate General for Immigration in Jakarta.

Visit visas can be applied for in two ways:

  1. Online via an Indonesian sponsor; or
  2. Personally at the Indonesian Missions abroad.

 

Please note: 

Foreign nationals may be exempted from the visa requirement if one of the following conditions is met:

  1. Nationals of a state which is on the list of states of the visa exemption;
  2. Nationals of a foreign state who are in possession of a residence permit with re-entry authorization;
  3. Captain of a ship, pilot, or crew on duty in a means of transport;
  4. Captain of a ship, crew member of a ship, or foreign professional entering in a ship or on a floating device for the purpose of operating in Indonesian waters, continental plates and/or in exclusive economic zones of Indonesia.
